Fifteen New Alternative Energy Stocks Added; Four Stocks Deleted from Ardour Global Index in Quarterly Rebalancing
One New Stock In AGI Extra Liquid
Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- The idea for Dave and Ryan Beaumont's Earthsack, a reusable, all natural cotton bag, started with Earth Day. The father and son team wanted to find a way to help the environment and contribute to the fight against global warming.
Soon after beginning their research on simple ways people could help reduce global warming, Dave received his issue of Time magazine. Inside was an article listing numerous things people could do to help the Earth. No. 24 was "Just say no to plastic bags." The pair decided to start there.
"500 billion plastic bags are distributed worldwide each year," Dave said. "Most of these bags end up in landfills where they take over 1,000 years to photodegrade while releasing toxic greenhouse gases into our atmosphere, so we decided to design a general reusable sack for all shopping purposes."
He tracked down a company in the Midwest to imprint the 100 percent cotton sacks, which are 15 square inches with 26-inch handles. Dave added, "If people can simply change their shopping habits and reuse their bags, it would drastically reduce the amount of carbon emissions that are released into our air. The Earthsack is a simple and effective reminder that we need to change our habits in order to change our future."
Ryan Beaumont, who is now 7-years-old, plans to introduce the Earthsack to every adult he encounters in his school and activity groups. "These bags are great," said Ryan exuberantly. "You can help the environment and earn bag credit money at a lot of stores all at the same time. Everybody wins with an Earthsack."
